Nassau, NP Bahamas (June 6, 2011) Today Arawak Homes Ltd. (AHL) the leading provider of affordable and custom built homes in The Bahamas announces the release of its new website, (http://www.arawakhomes.com) which is designed to support the new strategic direction of the company in showcasing its extensive selection of affordable homes, as well as custom homes that have been designed and built by the AHL team. This new AHL website was designed and developed by IBS International (www.IBSinternational.com), a leading provider of custom software, web application development, and IT consulting services in The Bahamas.
“We recognize that as a company we must adapt our home products and construction management services offerings to respond to changes in the market place”, said Mr. Franon Wilson, President of Arawak Homes. “There used to be a time when many Bahamians would take on a home building project on their own and dealt with the contractor and skilled labour directly, but given the complexity involved with home building today, many persons are now engaging Arawak Homes for their building projects”, continued Wilson.
The new Arawak Homes website allows the company to better communicate with current, as well as, prospective clients, and it effectively showcases i our new contemporary home model designs.

One of Arawak’s newest initiatives is the MatriMoney Bridal Registry, which allows couples to select and register to purchase a new home from Arawak Homes, and have a customized bridal registry page created on the AHL website, . Friends and family members can then select home items as gifts for the couple, electronically. The couple, as well as the AHL MatriMoney Account Executive receive automated email notifications of the pledges, and are able to contact the donors to complete the transaction.
